Our clinics in Morristown and Oak Ridge provide structured ABA therapy in an environment built around helping your child learn. With specialized resources, trained professionals, and built-in peer interaction, the clinic setting allows for consistent routines and targeted interventions tailored to each learner's needs. It's a focused space where clients can make the most of their learning time.
Who in-clinic therapy is for
In-clinic services support individuals with autism and other developmental disorders across a wide range of ages and skill levels. The clinic setting is often the right fit for:
- Early learners building foundational communication, social, and adaptive skills
- Children preparing for a school environment who benefit from routines, group learning, and classroom-style structure
- Learners who make the most progress in a consistent, structured environment with specialized materials and reinforcement
- Families who want peer interaction opportunities built into their child's program
Not sure if clinic-based services are the right fit? That's exactly what the initial assessment determines. Your BCBA will recommend the setting and structure that matches your child's needs.
What a session looks like
Every client's program is different, but a typical clinic day blends structured teaching with natural play:
- 1:1 work with a Registered Behavior Technician: individualized teaching targets from your child's treatment plan, delivered through play and structured activities
- Natural environment learning: practicing skills in play areas and everyday routines so they carry over to daily life
- Peer and group opportunities: turn-taking, social play, and group instruction that prepare learners for making friends, building relationships, and thriving in social situations
- Data collection throughout: data is collected throughout the session to make decisions based on real progress and determine when modifications are needed
How goals are set and progress is measured
Services begin with a thorough evaluation by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, who develops an individualized treatment plan around your child's strengths, needs, and your family's priorities. From there, your BCBA supervises the program on an ongoing basis, reviewing session data, adjusting targets as skills are mastered, and meeting with you regularly to review progress. Goals aren't static: as your child grows, the plan grows with them.
Families are part of the program
Caregiver collaboration is built into everything we do. Active involvement from families ensures consistency. You'll learn the same strategies our team uses so positive behaviors are reinforced at home, and skills your child builds in the clinic carry over into daily life. For enrolled families, we also extend learning beyond our walls with community-based practice (like grocery stores and parks) and in-home generalization support when appropriate.

Common questions
How many hours per week is typical?
Most clients attend between 10 and 30 hours per week. The exact recommendation is individualized based on your child's assessment, goals, and your family's circumstances. After the initial evaluation, your BCBA will recommend a schedule and explain the reasoning, and it's adjusted over time based on progress.
What ages do you serve in the clinic?
We support learners of all ages, from early learners through teens and adults. Our SEBS Academy program specifically serves ages 3–6 with school-readiness preparation, and our Adult Services program supports older learners.
Will clinic services help my child get ready for school?
School readiness is one of the most common goals in our clinic programs. Group learning, classroom-style routines, and our SEBS Academy program are designed to prepare children for success in a traditional school setting.
What insurance do you accept?
We accept TennCare and most major insurance plans, including BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Tricare, Cigna, Aetna, Wellpoint, and UnitedHealthcare. If you don't see your plan listed, reach out and our team will be happy to check your benefits.
